Birthday Mini Sessions are suitable for children of all ages. Whether your little one is celebrating their first birthday or a later milestone, these sessions are a beautiful way to document their special day.

When is the best time to book my birthday mini session?

I recommend booking your Birthday Mini Session around 3-4 weeks before your child’s birthday to allow plenty of time for your session and to enjoy your photographs around their special day. However, if you would prefer the photographs to be taken closer to their birthday, you’re welcome to book your session nearer the time, subject to availability.

What is included in a birthday mini session?

Each session includes a 30-minute studio session, a large number balloon, use of studio props, and 2 fully edited high-resolution digital images delivered via an online gallery, with the option to purchase additional images.

What setup is used for the session?

Birthday Mini Sessions are photographed on a plain neutral backdrop with a large number balloon, creating timeless milestone portraits that keep the focus on your child.

Do you provide the number balloon?

Yes, a large number balloon matching your child's age will be provided for the session.

Can family or sibling photos be included?

Yes, family and sibling photographs can be added to your Birthday Mini Session for an additional £50. This upgrade includes a selection of family and sibling portraits alongside your child’s birthday photographs.

What should my child wear?

I recommend neutral tones, soft colours and simple outfits that complement the timeless style of the session. A preparation guide can be provided before your appointment.

How long does the session last?

Birthday Mini Sessions last approximately 30 minutes, making them perfect for young children with shorter attention spans.
